Michael R. Vaccarella Sr.

A big man, with an even bigger personality, Michael could always fill a room with laughter telling his animated stories and sharing his unique observations of the world around him. He loved riding, and rebuilding, his Harley, spending time on his boat, and driving big rigs. He had tremendous pride in his sons, and was happiest in his role as Pop Pop to his grandchildren.

Michael is predeceased by his mother and step-father, Carol and Jerry Allen, his older sister Deborah Ostopovich, nephew Robert Faucher, and younger brother and best friend, Robert Vaccarella.

He is survived by his sons and their respective spouses Michael Richard Jr. (Angela) and Joseph Robert (Ashleigh), his grandchildren, Sophia Rose and Giovanni Michael, a step daughter, Daniel Vigil (California), big sisters, Betty Lynn Odom (Alabama) and Catherine Lou Spear, nieces Carol Frances Spear, Kimberly Faucher, Brooke Vaccarella, nephews Terrence Faucher, David St. Hillaire (Alabama), and great niece Isabella Valdes.

A memorial service is planned for Friday, October 22, 2021 between 4 and 8 pm. The service will be held at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave., Union, NJ 07083.
