Irene – I am so sad to hear Michael has passed. I am sorry to say I didn’t know he was ill.

The Wallwork family will always remember Micheal as a bright and hardworking associate. He started with our company in an entry level position and worked his way up to assistant branch manager, then branch manager, then buyer, and, lastly, inside commercial sales specialist. It was a successful career that spanned 30+ years.

Micheal was creative and, at times, outspoken. These were both highly valued attributes at our company. We were able to use his ideas several times to improve efficiency and eliminate waste. Micheal had a penchant for using unusual words in his emails. There were times we had to look up the meaning of the word he was using because we didn’t know its definition. He wanted to be thought-provoking and fun, and he was.

There was a lot of energy around Micheal, and he always brought more of it to work than he took away. He was a valuable contributor to our successful team. We are happy he chose to spend the time he did with us.

From the Rebman Family and my brother Michael, we extend our deepest, hearfelt, sincere sympathy/condolences to Irene, Alphonse and Josephine  on the passing of Michael.  Michael was a good man and will be missed dearly and loved by many.  He is now in heaven with our sacred dear Lord and at peace along with his parents and his sister Marianne.

Irene - Mark and I want to express our deepest condolences to you and your family.   I'm so sorry for your loss but I know Michael was ready to go home.   I am grateful for being able to spend quality time with him in the last few months both in person and on the phone.  We had a lovely visit with you both in May.  Michael expressed a desire to join me at my church after I had mentioned to him that they were all praying for him.  He said he wanted to come and meet them in person to say thank you which he was able to do on two occasions.   He seemed to find some peace during his two visits.   The thought of dying makes most of us feel scared or uneasy.  I admire Michael's courage and acceptance of the hand that he was dealt.   During my last phone call with him, I told him that he would be remembered fondly, that he would be missed and that he was loved.   When we're sad, let's remember that Michael would want us to remember him and smile.    Let's celebrate Michael and a life well lived.

Condolences to Irene & family. Growing up we always spent time over his house playing basketball in the yard, horsing around in the basement & playing cards with Uncle Jack. (Yackie as he would say) These are the memory's I will always have of him. He always had a unique sense of humor. After Julieanne's wedding I found a selfie of him that he took with my phone when I wasn't looking. He did this even though he was going through great pain from the cancer.  (Yes, I still have it.) He had an avid watch collection & I would sometimes send him a picture of a unique watch that I had found but he already had one of them. (Of course). I'm sure he's showing it to everyone in heaven right now. He is no longer in pain but rather united with his parents & sister Maryanne. I'm going to miss him greatly, but I know I will see him again along with the rest of our family. Rest in peace Mike and save me a seat at the card table.

My deepest sympathy to Irene, his son Michael Phillip and family. My cousin Michael had a tuff battle to fight and he did for as long as he could.  I will miss him but, I'm grateful he is no longer suffering. He is at peace now and in God's loving arms. I have fond  childhood memories when my sister and I would go to his house for birthday parties or when all the cousins would go to our grandparents house for holidays. He is now in heaven where there is no more pain or suffering. Michael is reunited with my aunt, uncle and  his older sister Maryanne. Michael rest in peace cousin.

My deepest condolence to Irene and her family. Michael, I'm sure he is bringing his extreme love , cheerfulness, friendliness , laughter , and happiness to everyone in his new home. Michael has a special way of showing that  when he is happy to any degree others can pass through the open door of his utopian state of being. I know that some fights such as cancer are beyond our control.  Michael is and was always a fighter that is he always did what he believed  was best for himself and even for other people.  It may appear that someone is defeated by cancer if that person refuses any treatment or stops receiving treatments or any treatment. However, the person isn't and wasn't defeated. The person is doing or did what was best for him or her. I 'm proud of my cousin because he showed the cancer that he was doing what was best for him, that he was at peace with his choice, and that the cancer didn't take away his free will and kill his spirit. Michael, my dearest and beloved cousin, I will always remember that it was you who got me on the committee of the family reunion. MY dearest and beloved Cousin Michael rest in peace forever in God's kingdom.

My deepest condolenence  to Irene and her family on the passing of my cousin Michael. Michael, I'm sure is lighting up Heaven with his love, extremely friendly and cheerful personality. I know that Michael love to bring extreme happiness and laughter everywhere he would go. I know that some fights can be super extremely to win such as Cancer . One thing Cancer can't take away from us is our free will and our right to die with dignity. I know that Michael still had the final say and did what was right for him. He was at peace with his decision so the Cancer really didn't win because the cancer my cousin had didn't kill his spirit. Michael, my dearest cousin, rest in peace in eternal happiness forever amen.
