Michael Patrick Gaffney age 37, of Piscataway, NJ, formerly of Union, NJ, passed away tragically on Friday, May 13, 2016. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Spirit Church 971 Suburban Road Union, NJ, on Thursday, May 19, 2016, at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery Colonia, NJ. The family will receive their friends at McCracken Funeral Home 1500 Morris Avenue Union, NJ; on Wednesday, May 18, 2016, from 4-8 PM. Michael was predeceased by his father Frank Gaffney. He is survived by his beloved daughter, his pride and joy, Alexia Marie Gaffney, his devoted mother Judy and step-father Raymond Valdes, his dear brother Frank Gaffney III, his girlfriend of 10 years and soulmate Johanna Aguilar, his “baby momma” as he would call her Angie Serrano, and his grandmother Edna Noble. Michael is also survived by many uncles, aunts, and cousins. He was the loving uncle of Connor, Mason, and Mia, dear friend to many, and lover of all animals, especially his Oreo and Tigger.
