Maya Meier left her hometown of Basel, Switzerland in 1947 to come to the US. She and her late husband Felix eventually settled in Union NJ to raise their family.
Maya was employed as a receptionist at Baltusrol Golf Club for 27 years.
She was predeceased by daughter Diane and is survived by sons Stephen (and Mary), Bruce (and Arlin), and Philip; grandchildren Nicole, Derek, and Byron; great grandchildren Brooklyn, Ava, Owen, and Maya; great-great grandchild Grayson.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the Chapel at Short Hills Mausoleum in St. Stephen's Cemetery 451 Millburn Avenue Millburn, NJ.
