Mark R. Frederickson

Mark R. Frederickson age 52, of Union, NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, December 29, 2022. He was born in Kingston, NY on April 8, 1970, where he grew up. He also resided in Nashville, TN before moving to Union, where he resided for the last 10 years.

Mark was an avid Yankee and college football fan. He enjoyed spending time with his family whether it be adventurous weekend excursions or long vacations with his lovely wife, Carolyn or attending stock car races and fishing with his dad. Mark was extremely outgoing and loved to talk, a trait that was natural for the former radio DJ. His outgoing personality also helped in his current position as an insurance agent with NorthStar Financial Insurance when speaking with people. Mark also served as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Michael’s Church. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Mark is the beloved husband of Carolyn (Schefter) Frederickson. Devoted father of Jennalyn and Krystyna and grandfather of Kendyll. Son of Robert Frederickson and Sharon Weigel. Brother of Kelly and her husband Rob Pinskey. Uncle of Katelyn and Jordan Pinskey and Carter Correa. Son-in-law of Kathleen Schefter and Brother-in-law of Alyson Schefter. He also leaves behind a host of family and friends.

The family will receive their friends at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Avenue Union, NJ, on Monday, January 2, 2023, from 4-8 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael’s Church, 1212 Kelly Street Union, NJ, on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at 10:15 AM. Interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park Kenilworth, NJ.
