Marie Jeanne McNally

Marie Jeanne McNally (nee Reinhardt) age 63, of New Providence, NJ, passed away suddenly on Monday February 15, 2016. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Holy Spirit Church 971 Suburban Road Union, NJ, on Saturday February 20, 2016 at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery East Hanover, NJ. The family will receive their friends at McCracken Funeral Home 1500 Morris Avenue Union, NJ; on Friday February 19, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Marie was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Union, NJ, before moving to New Providence, NJ. She was a successful salesperson with Verizon Communications and later as a real estate agent with Berkshire Hathaway before joining Weichert Realty in Summit, NJ. Marie loved her family and friends, especially her granddaughters; they truly were the light of her life. She was also active in many charitable and civic organizations. She was a Hospice volunteer and a member of the New Providence Municipal Alliance since 2010. She was recognized as Volunteer of the Year by the Local Advisory Committee on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse for her planning and execution of the E15M event held at New Providence High School, a program that includes a realistic re-enactment of the perils of substance abuse and driving. Beloved wife for 25 years to Felix A. McNally, devoted mother of Michael and his wife Elizabeth Reilly and Christopher McNally, loving grandmother of Emma, Meghan and Allison, devoted daughter of Catherine and the late John Reinhardt, dear sister of John and his wife Nancy Reinhardt, James and his wife Sue Reinhardt and David Reinhardt. Marie is also survived by many loving brother-in-law’s, sister-in-law’s, nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that family and friends make a donation to the charity of their choice in Marie’s name.
