Maria Ines Santiago

Maria Ines Santiago, age 76, of Hillside, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday May 16, 2022. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church 1096 North Avenue Elizabeth, NJ, on Friday May 20, 2022 at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery Linden, NJ. The family will receive their friends at McCracken Funeral Home 1500 Morris Avenue Union, NJ, on Thursday May 19, 2022 from 4-8 PM. Maria was born in Hatillo, Puerto Rico and eventually settled in NJ. She was employed as a line operator at Schering-Plough in Kenilworth, NJ, for 12 years, before her retirement. Maria was predeceased by her parents Eusebio Santiago Toledo and Maria Vargas, and her sisters Justa De Jesus and Eusebia Rivera. She is survived by her sisters Milagros Santiago, Doris Correa, a brother Dimas Vargas, her brother-in-laws Hector L. De Jesus and Jaime Rivera. Maria is also survived by her nieces and nephews Hector De Jesus, Jaime Rivera, Jorge Rivera, Lourdes Diaz, Vivian Rivera and great nieces and nephews.
