Born in Newark, Lenny grew up in Plainfield, attended Plainfield High School, and in the following years was self employed and known as "The Gutter Man". He was a hard working man and rarely took a sick day. For the past nine years, he worked for the Township of Union for the Department of Public Works.
He was a die hard Giants and Mets fan, and everyone that knows him knew of his passion for Bud Lite. He could often be found in the backyard blasting 80's music while scrapping metal, or in his self-made man cave watching the news or sports. He was always keeping himself busy with his "home projects".
Lenny was a loyal and devoted friend to many and would drop everything to help when asked. He was loved by so many and will be truly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded by his father, William G. Schneider and mother, Darel A. Feeko.
Lenny is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Kathleen Schneider and his sisters Gloria and Jimmy Capone, Deborah Wamba, and Janice Schneider. Lenny was a wonderful father to Tiffany and Justin Tschinkel, Liam Schneider and William Schneider and step-father to Jennifer and Mark Brubaker and Christopher and Jennifer Kaminski. He was a proud "Pop-Pop" to Landon and Scarlett Tschinkel and Logan Kaminski.
