He was born on July 8th, 1947 in Elizabeth, NJ to his adoring parents, Joseph V. and Rose Londino (née Bommino).
He was the youngest of three children. In 1959, he and his family moved from Elizabeth to Union, NJ, where Joseph resided for the remainder of his life.
In high school, Joseph enjoyed bowling, go-karting, playing baseball, and playing football. Joseph was a 1965 graduate of Union High School in Union, NJ and went on to study psychology and business at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Rutherford, NJ, graduating in 1972.
He loved animals, especially cats. His tabby cat, Tammi, was thoroughly cherished by him. Joseph was an avid pool player, and he owned his own billiards parlor, J & J Billiards in Scotch Plains, NJ from 1991 to 1996.
In 2000, he pursued a post-baccalaureate degree in education to become a special education teacher at Elizabeth High School. His students were very fond of him, often asking him for advice. Joseph was highly regarded by his students for his wisdom, patience, compassion, enthusiasm and, above all, his great sense of humor.
He was also a passionate musician, playing drums and bass guitar.
He was predeceased by his sister, Elaine Londino. He is survived by brother, Lawrence Londino, sister-in-law, Cathleen Londino, and sister-in-law, Patricia Cardoso.
He is also survived by his cherished wife of 39 years, Diane Londino (née Turi) and their incredible daughter, Amanda Londino. He was loved by his nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.
A visitation for Joseph will be held Wednesday, April 9, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave, Union, NJ 07083.
A funeral will occur Thursday, April 10, 2025 at 10:15 AM at Saint Michael The Archangel Roman Catholic Church, 1212 Kelly St, Union, NJ 07083.
A graveside will occur Thursday, April 10, immediately after at Hollywood Memorial Park, 1500 Stuyvesant Ave., Union, NJ 07083.
