John B. Atkinson peacefully passed away at home on June 19, 2017. He is predeceased by his father, John Atkinson, his mother, Susi Atkinson (nee Braun), and his sister Amber. John is survived by his siblings Dawn Bridgman and her husband Harry, Marilyn, Arlene and Heidi. Beloved uncle to Harrison, Jaclyn, Charles Sona and his wife Ellen and a beloved great-uncle to CJ and Brandon. John was an advocate for AIDS education and supporter of the AIDS foundation. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family. Arrangements under the direction of McCracken Funeral Home, Union, NJ.
