Frank S. Paiva

Frank S. Paiva, 89 of Union, NJ passed away on Saturday September 19, 2020 from natural causes. Born on June 9, 1931, Frank was a loving father and grandfather and a charismatic, wise man whose passions included raising canaries, watching financial news. He cherished most of all spending time with his family. Frank worked at Western Electric for thirty-three years before retiring at the age of fifty-two. In retirement he enjoyed returning each summer to Portugal, the land of his youth. He was also a member of the Portuguese Instructive Social Club of Elizabeth. Frank was predeceased by his son Nelson, and is survived by his wife Matilde, his two children, Frank and Christina, his daughter-in-law and son-in-law Suzan and Richard, and his grandchildren Clark, Isabel, Walter, Juliet, and Violet.

A visitation for Frank will be held Tuesday, September 22, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave, Union, NJ 07083. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at 10:15 AM at St Michael's Catholic Church, 1212 Kelly Street, Union, NJ 07083. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at St. Gertrude Cemetery, 53 Inman Ave, Colonia, NJ 07067.
