She worked as a Traffic Clerk at Plastic Laminating Company for 25 years and then as a machine operator at the Almark Tool and Die Company before her retirement in 1984.
Florence met and married Vincent Vibbert, of this union 5 children were born. Vincent passed away in 1963 and Florence eventually found love again with Manny Britto whom she married.
Florence was a longtime Union resident living here for over 60 years before relocating to Cranford Senior Housing Complex. Florence was very active in the community she was a member of the Union Senior Citizens Club, the Roselle Park Senior Citizens club, the Peterstown Senior Citizens Club in Elizabeth as well as the AARP club.
Florence was pre deceased by her husbands Vincent Vibbert and Manny Britto and daughters Barbara Dietzold, Susan Marangi, and Sandy Vibbert-Malloy as well as grandson, Gregory Vibbert.
She leaves to mourn and cherish her memory, her children Vincent Vibbert Jr., Terrence Vibbert, daughter-in law, Jackie Vibbert, and step-daughter Barbara Britto. She leaves her 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild who loved her dearly as well as a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
A visitation for Florence will be held Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave, Union, NJ 07083.
A funeral service will occur Friday, January 21, 2022 from 9:00 AM at St. Michaels Roman Catholic Church, 40 Alden Street, Cranford, NJ 07016.
Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
