She was born on July, 31st 1931, in Havana, Cuba, to her adoring parents Antonio Herrera and Modesta Diez De Los Rios. During Emma's younger years, she brightened the lives of all of those lucky enough to meet her. From here, she devoted herself not only to her family, but also to her community as being a loveable, dependable soul. She will be dearly missed by all those she touched. She lived in Florida for 9 years before moving to New Jersey in 2002.
Emma enjoyed spending time with all of her family; especially her grandchildren, nieces and grand nieces.
Her favorite hobby was knitting, which she enjoyed whenever she was not busy with family events. She loved children, and was protective and incredibly loving to her own.
She is predeceased by her devoted husband, Ramon Quintana, and leaves behind her two loving children, Eugenio Ramon Quintana-Herrera and Consuelo Quintana. No matter how far apart they may be, the love they share for their mother will always be unwavering.
Emma was a caring, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and daughter. Her family was the most important factor in her life. She would sacrifice her resources and well-being for them; truly a selfless woman. She was happy if her loved ones felt safe, cared for, and comfortable.
