Ellen Elizabeth (Saiauski) Chapman

Ellen Chapman formally of Union NJ, passed away peacefully on July 22nd in Boca Raton Florida. She was 86 years old. Ellen was born on May 3, 1933 in Shenandoah Pennsylvania. Going to school in Newark, Ellen graduated from Central High School. She met her husband Norbert Chapman and married September 29, 1951. They raised 7 children together. Ellen spent most of her years working as a sales manager at Suburban Cable before retiring in 1989. Raising her 7 children on Thoreau Tr in Union she was also a long standing member of the Union Elks Club and enjoyed spending her summers with her family at their swim club. She enjoyed travel with her daughters all over the globe where she has visited sites far as China, Korea, all over Europe and so many more. She loved the history of the world but found herself loving her homeland most of all and made sure she went to as many states as possible. When she was not traveling she was reading, catching up on Fox News, and Shopping. She was a loving mother to all 7 children and spent most of her time helping with her 7 grandchildren.

Ellen was predeceased by her husband Norbert and two of her children Donna Chapman Megas and Norbert Vance Chapman.

She was truly loved by her children Susan Chapman, Ellen Chapman, Gayle Soto, Cindy Patalano and Wayne Chapman and her daughter-in-law Rosemary Chapman and son-in-law Joe Soto.

Ellen has 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren
