Ella D. Watts

Ella graduated Battin High School in Elizabeth,NJ. She married Thomas J. Watts in 1943.

Together they owned Watts Pet Shop on Morris Avenue in Elizabeth for over 50 years.

Ella was active in the Episcopal Church all her life. Her last church was All Saints Saint Luke’s Church in Union. She was also a volunteer at Union Hospital for many years. She loved to travel and to crochet.

Her surviving relatives are her daughter, Shirley Watts-Partelow and son-in-law, Alan Partelow of Westfield; Three grandsons, Lance and his wife Kathy Partelow of Annandale, New Jersey, Brian and his wife Lisa Partelow of Gloucester, Massachusetts and Christopher and his wife Liz Partelow of Westfield.

Ella is also survived by 5 great grandchildren; Thomas, Jeffrey, Natalie,Thatcher and Katherine.

She will be missed by all who knew her.

A graveside service for Ella will be held Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Graceland Memorial Park, 1900 Galloping Hill Rd, Kenilworth, New Jersey 07033.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Ella’s memory to Saint Luke’s & All Saints Episcopal Church, 398 Chestnut Street, Union, www.stlukeallsaints.com or a charity of your choice.
