Dorothy M. Wilson (nee Mog), the beloved wife of Peter Wilson for 67 years, died peacefully at Livingston's St. Barnabas Medical Center after a long illness. Born in Bayonne, N.J., Dorothy began a 42-year career with Exxon. She and Peter met at a Bayonne church function, which soon resulted in an engagement, shortly after the Japanese attack. At war's end, they were reunited and began their new life together for 67 years, much of which was in Livingston, N.J. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 8, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave., Union, N.J. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, April 9, at 9:30 a.m. An interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield, N.J. In place of flowers, contributions to the Livingston Volunteer Emergency Squad, 62 S. Livingston Ave., Livingston, N.J. 07039, would be appreciated.
