David G. Sabol

David Sabol of Linden, NJ, went home to be with the Lord on January 8, 2022 after a brief illness. He was the beloved son of George Sabol and the late Edith Sabol. Born in Elizabeth, NJ, he also lived in Hillside before settling in Linden.

David graduated from Hillside High School and Teterboro School of Aeronautics where he graduated in the top of his class. After over 30 years as an employee of Continental Airlines and later United Airlines, David retired in 2020. He was also a talented machinist and a master mechanic. Through his church, Abundant Life Worship Center in Springfield, NJ, David volunteered for several church-related activities to help those in need. He had a big heart to help others. One of the volunteer groups that was near and dear to his heart was the Samaritan Outreach Services, where he helped train men in their technical skills of building/repairing within the construction field.

He was a wonderful uncle who loved spending time with his family. He created many fond and treasured memories with his beloved nieces, Sarah Shatynski, Rebecca DeSantis and her husband, Bob.

David is survived by his father, George, and sister, Debra Shatynski and her husband Daniel.
