She was born in Jersey City, NJ on March 3, 1946 to the late Francis Vincent and Edith Mabel Coco.
Connie graduated with an Associate’s degree in nursing from Jersey City’s St. Francis School of Nursing in 1968. During her 40+ years as a registered nurse, she selflessly healed and touched the lives of countless people.
Compassion, patience, humor, and unwavering love were just a handful of Connie’s gifts to the world and her loved ones. She was a warm, gentle, and caring soul and she always had a smile on her face - even during the tough times. Connie loved to spend time with her two children and she especially enjoyed celebrating Christmas with her family. Her hobbies included coloring, crocheting, reading, and planting flowers in her garden. She also loved going out to lunch with her girlfriends, Sunday morning blueberry pancakes and bacon, Taco Tuesdays, and eating ice cream while watching her favorite TV shows and movies.
Connie’s legacy and love live on through her son Rafael Antonio, daughter and son-in-law Michelle and Vincent Marciano, brother and sister-in-law Cornell and Frances Coco, sister-in-law Zana Coco, two nephews, two nieces, one great nephew, four great nieces, and one great great nephew. She is predeceased by her late brother Francis V. Coco, Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the McCracken Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from 8:30 to 9:30 AM. Following the visitation, a mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Michael's R.C. Church, 1212 Kelly Street, Union, NJ 07083 at 10 AM followed by entombment at Hollywood Memorial Park Cemetery, 1500 Stuyvesant Avenue, Union, NJ 07083.
In lieu of flowers, her children ask that you donate to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation in memory of her name.
