Catherine Ivone

Catherine Ivone, 92, passed away peacefully on Saturday October 6 in Piscataway NJ. Catherine was a graduate of the City College of NY, earning a business degree in 1942. She was a longtime resident of Kenilworth where she was communicant of St. Theresa’s Church. She was a past president of the Rosary Society. Catherine worked for the First Union Bank for about 10 years.

Catherine was predeceased by her beloved husband Pasquale. She is survived by her loving children Suzanne May, Dianne Card, Joanne Serino, Richard Ivone, and Barbara Anne Bauer. She is also survived by her adoring grandchildren James O’Leary, Cheryl Leister, Michelle Harrington, Nicholas Ivone, and Kristiann Ivone, as well as her great-children Tyson, Tamu, and Nagassi. She is also survived by her sister Rose Wiggins.

Friends and family may call on Tuesday October 9 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM to the McCracken Funeral Home 1500 Morris Ave Union NJ. Funeral mass will be offered at St. Theresa’s Church, Kenilworth on Wednesday October 10 at 10AM with interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne NY.
