Bruno E. Schwaigert

Bruno E. Schwaigert, age 90, of Union, New Jersey passed away peacefully at home on Friday, January 14, 2022. He was born August 15, 1931 in Newark, NJ and was a life-long resident of Union, NJ. He graduated from Union High School and was a master tool & die maker starting as an apprentice at Universal Tools & Mfg. Co. of Springfield, NJ and retiring from Weiss-Aug Co. Inc. in Hanover, NJ at the age of 73. Bruno was active with the Fellowship Deaconry Ministries of Liberty Corner, NJ, was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling across America and Europe well into retirement.

Bruno was predeceased by his parents Eugene and Eugenia (Veil), his daughter Lisa and his brother Ed; he is survived by his wife of 64 years Iris, son Eric and his wife Diana, his grandchildren Angela and Eric, his sister-in-law Carole, niece Beth and nephew John, his wife Alexa and children Ivy and Axel.

A visitation for Bruno will be held Monday, January 24, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave, Union, NJ 07083, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM.
