OBITUARY

Aria Kornblum

June 6, 1985 – April 21, 2025
Obituary of Aria Kornblum
IN THE CARE OF

McCracken Funeral Home

Aria Em Kornblum (nee Navarro) passed away Monday, April 21st, surrounded by those she adored; and those who adored her. An actress and social media maven, Aria practiced what she preached: unconditional love.

Although she was born in Newark, we all know she was actually sent to us from outer space. Her favorite place to spend time was Cape May, though Aria always loved a good road trip, especially when Kesha was blasting on the radio.

Obsessed with film and comedy, Aria’s lifelong dream was to be hooked to the silver screen. Somehow, in her far too brief time with us, she made that dream come true, and she has left us with a surprise: Aria can be seen in a featured role in Maggie Gyllenhaal’s upcoming horror film, The Bride!

Our perfect, spooky Tootsie loved all things Halloween. Her hero was Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, and Aria was able to pay loving tribute to her as Jackie Lantern in the comedy group Betty Pie. Aria’s dark yet loveable sense of humor is what made her husband, Tim, fall head over heels for her. They were together for eleven years (married Halloween 2021) and had so many fun adventures. But whether they were watching Rupaul’s Drag Race, or simply eating Aria’s homemade pasta fagioli, Tim and Aria’s favorite thing to do together was absolutely nothing- just being with each other.

Writer, actor, painter, makeup artist, comedienne, humanitarian. There is nothing Aria couldn’t do (except load the damn dishwasher properly. Cups go on top, hunny!)

Aria is survived by her husband Tim, mother Gloria, brother Carlo, niece Ilona, grandmother Hilda. She changed the lives of, and was changed by even more family: Alan and Michele, Craig and Flannery, Monique, Aunt Karen and Uncle Steve, not to mention her dearest friends- Laura, Nick, Cindy, Dave and Bri, Jimbo, Baci (Kitten) and Michelle, and the thousands whose lives she forever impacted throughout the world. She is being welcomed home by Carlos, Sue, Pop, Phyllis, and Astro.

As an organ donor, Aria’s final gift is giving life back to families who may never have otherwise had the chance. As Aria would say, “If it will make their day brighter, how could I not?”

Aria’s legacy is love, and she demands that, starting right now, you go live your life. On your terms. For you.

The heartbreaking void she leaves is filled by the glowing light she always emanated.

Breathe. Breathe in the air.

Rest easy, love. We’ll leave the light on for you.

Defy gravity.
