Anne B Ray

Everyone who knew Anne thought of her as his/her own “Auntie Ann.” She lived as she loved, completely, with family as the center of her life.

Anne worked as a floor manager at Chase Chemical, a pharmaceutical company, in Newark, NJ until she retired. She and her husband, Dennis Ray, lovingly cared for many children during her retirement years.

Anne is predeceased by her husband Dennis Ray, and her beloved sisters and brothers, Marie Muscolino, Giro (Jerry) Vasco, Concetta (Connie) Calabrese, Rosalie Fabbricatore, and Peter Vasco. Anne is survived by her nieces and nephews, her great nieces and nephews, and her great-great nieces and nephews, as well as Emilia Cechova who cared for her as though she were her own. Her radiant smile, quick wit, pertinent adages, and beautiful singing voice will be missed by all.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2019 from 4:00-8:00AM at the McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Avenue, Union, NJ. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 259 Oliver Street, Newark, NJ. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Rd, North Arlington, NJ.
