Anne Marie Heisler

Anne Rinkus Heisler, age 90, of Union, NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday October 28, 2014. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Spirit Church corner of Suburban Rd. and Morris Avenue Union, NJ, on Friday October 31, 2014 at 9:30AM. Interment to follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery Colonia, NJ. The family will receive their friends at McCracken Funeral Home 1500 Morris Avenue Union, NJ; on Thursday October 30, 2014 from 5-9 PM. Anne was born in Bayonne, NJ and graduated from Bayonne High School. She later attended Spencer Business College and Union County College. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a bookkeeper for the Union County Courthouse. She was an active member of the Legion of Mary at St. Michael’s Church in Cranford, NJ. Anne was predeceased by her parents Dominic and Margaret Goupsas and her beloved husbands Charles Rinkus (1961) and Lawrence Heisler (1999). She is survived by her devoted daughters Susan Bell and her husband Harold and Joanne Rinkus and her step-son Lawrence Heisler Jr. and his wife Susan, her grandchildren Erica Bell and her husband Brad Waudby, Charlotte Rinkus, Ellen Heisler and Gregory Heisler and her dear sister Margaret Dellinger. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Palliative Care Services Overlook Foundation 36 Upper Overlook Rd. P.O. Box 220 Summit, NJ 07902-0220.
