Dear brother of Ann Gudehus and husband, Ray and James Ernst and wife Matty. Loving grandfather of Leesa Spritzer and husband David, William J. Ernst III, Megan Ann Ernst and Heather Ernst. Great grandfather of Brandon Carballo, Skylar Metsinger, Avianah Long, Alyssa Whalen and Sean Spritzer. A lifelong resident of Hudson County, William worked for the Hoboken Paint Co. for 45 years retiring in 1996 as a supervisor. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Wednesday at 10 AM at the Leber Funeral Home, 2000 Kennedy Blvd., Union City. Cremation to follow at Garden State Crematory, North Bergen. Visitation on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
