Vera Liguori

Born in Benevento, Italy, on August 17, 1933, to the late Felice and Maria Affinito, she lived in

Benevento, where she had survived World War II as a child, then later on immigrated to the

United States in 1956 with her late husband Vincenzo Liguori and her two infant children, Ralph

and Rina Liguori. In 1968, Vincenzo and Vera Liguori owned and operated The Four Seas Fish

Market in Union City, New Jersey, until 1983.

Family members include (the late) brother Domenic Affinito and his wife Filomena, brother

Anthony Affinito and his wife Marlene, and sister Lidia Florio and her (late) husband Anthony.

The children of the late Vera Liguori are Rina, Ralph, and his wife, Rita, Vincent and his wife

Duyen, Maria and her husband Robert, and Kristine and her husband, Samer. The

grandchildren and great-grandchildren of Vera Liguori are Michael Liguori and his wife Jessica,

with their children Layla, Frankie, and Michael Jr. Vincent Liguori and his wife Zuhal. Lisa

Fodor and her husband William, with their children Mia and Willam Jr. Emily Redford and her

children, Aidan and Connor. Jonathan Liguori and his wife VyLe and his brother, Michael Liguori.

Amanda Lennan and spouse Michael, and their children Adalina and Michael Jr. Michele

Oneto and her spouse, Antonino. Samer V. Nazzal, Adam S. Nazzal and their young brother,

Lucas S.Nazzal.

Vera’s Life Celebration will include visiting on Friday September 16 from 10:00AM to 1:00PM at

the Leber Funeral Home, 2000 Kennedy Blvd, Union City. A funeral prayer service will be

offered at 1:00PM. Vera will be laid to rest at Fairview Mausoleum, 501 Bergenwood Road,

Fairview, at 2:00PM.
