RENE ROA SR WEEHAWKEN Rene Roa Sr., 58, of Weehaw-ken passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2012. He was born in Cuba and lived for many years Weehawken. Rene was a police officer for the Weehawken Police Department for 25 years retiring in 2006. He was a member of the Weehawken PBA and the Fraternal Order of Policemen. Rene was the devoted husband of Rosemary Roa (nee: Garcia) and the beloved father of Rene Roa Jr. and his wife Alison. He was the dear brother of Reyaldo Roa and the loving grandfather of Juliet and Rene Roa III. The funeral will be on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Lawrence Church in Weehawken with the interment to follow at Holy Cross Ceme-tery.
