Rafael A Rivera

Born in La Vega, Dominican Republic on June 19, 1962 to late Consuelo Rosario Silva and Ramon Antonio Rivera.

Rafael lived in Union City for 42 years before moving to West New York. Along with his wife Karil Rivera and step son Odalys Mineya.

Rafael was respected and known by many in his community. He was a hard and dedicated Union Laborer Worker for Liuna Local 3 for 40 years.

Survivors include his devoted wife, Karil Rivera, loving children Xenia and Ralphie Jr. Rivera. His five adoring grandchildren Max, Juliana, Sierra Reign, Haven and Hazel. Leyda Jimenez which he considered his daughter. His siblings Mercedes, Leyda, Argentina, Valentine, his nephews and nieces.

Rafael's life celebration will include visiting on Friday May 10, 9:00 am at the Leber Funeral Home, 2000 Kennedy Blvd, Union City, NJ. A funeral prayer service will be offered at 11:30am. Friends and family may begin gathering at 9:30am Rafael will be laid to rest at Arlington Cemetery Association 748 Schuyler Ave Kearny NJ 07032.
