Jose Menendez, age 93, of North Bergen, New Jersey passed away on Sunday January 19, 2020. Jose was born August 31, 1926 in Cuba and lived for many years in North Bergen. He was a salesman for Prudential Insurance Co. for many years before retiring.
Jose was the beloved husband of the late Mireille Menendez and the dear brother in law of Edilia Valdes and Rosalina Hernandez. He was also the dear uncle of Maria Padron, Lucia Fit and many other nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Jose will be held Wednesday, January 22, 2020 from 9 AM to 12:30 AM at Leber Funeral Home, 2000 Kennedy Blvd, Union City, NJ 07087 with the a funeral mass to follow at 1:30 PM at Our Lady of Libera Church, 5808 Kennedy Blvd, West New York, NJ 07093. An entombment will follow at Flower Hill Mausoleum, North Bergen, New Jersey 07047.
