James L. Britten died on August 6, 2008 at Valley Manor Nursing Home in Coopersburg, PA . He was born in Jersey City, NJ. Lived in Schillington, PA since 1999 prior to that Weehawken for 45 years.
He worked as a Mechanic at American Can Co in Jersey City for 30 years and retired in 1985. He was a veteran of the Navy during Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Hoboken Knights of Columbus
Beloved husband of the late Norma T (Nee) Yeo. Loving father of Francis & James Britten and Noreen Gleason. Loving grandfather of six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral on Saturday August 9, 2008 at 9:30 AM at St Lawrence Church in Weehawken. Family and Friends are invited to attend the viewing on Friday August 8, 2008 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington NJ.
