Dorothea Jean Spinosa

Born in Hackensack, NJ, on June 17, 1933 to the late Louise and Walter Kammeron.

Dorothea lived in Weehawken, NJ, for 43 years with her devoted husband, Ralph P. Spinosa, until his death in 2001. Dorothea recently moved to Toms River, NJ in 2018.

Dorothea, a housewife and mother of six children along with her husband, Ralph, owned and operated “Spinosa Music” which was their family business until Ralph’s passing.

Dorothea’s family include: her Brother, Walter Kammeron,

Sister, Susan Godlewski, (Pre-deceased), Sister in Law, Mary Spinosa, In Laws:

Chris & Flo Spinosa, Dominick & Joan Spinosa, Rudy Spinosa, (all Pre-deceased).

Dorothea’s loving children: Steven and his spouse, MaryEllen, Robert and his spouse, Patricia, Lisa and her spouse, Lisa Mercado, Gina and her spouse, George Dizzine,

Ralph V. and his spouse, Leighann, and John and his spouse, Tara.

12 Loving Grandchildren: Jason, Katelyn, Patrick, Robert Jr., Kevin, Dean, Alexa, Jack,

Leslie, Karly, Jake and Brett. Two Great-Grandchildren : Atlas and Brock, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Dorothea’s Celebration of Life will include visiting on Thursday, December 5, 2024 from 3-8 pm at the Leber/Mack Funeral Home, 1245-Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ. A funeral prayer service will be offered on Friday, December 5, 2024 beginning at 11:00am at the funeral home. Friends and family are welcomed to gather at 10:00am, Friday morning at the funeral home before services.

Dorothea will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340-Ridge Road, North Arlington, NJ.
