Peter Michael Dolzenchuk, 64, of Oakdale, CT, passed away on November 18, 2022. He was born to Peter Dolzenchuk and Natalie Schum Dolzenchuk. He was a graduate of Montville high and went on to work as a press brake operator at Rand Whitney for many years.
In 1985 he met his wife Priscilla, and then on July 21, 1990 they tied the knot making her the love of his life. They shared 32 amazing years together, making memories and creating a beautiful life with each other. Mike and Priscilla went on to have three daughters, Kassaundra, Ashley and Melissa who he always said were his greatest gifts in life. Those closest to him will tell you he was known for his famous chili and his daughters will tell you he made the best grilled cheese and milk shakes!
He enjoyed spending his time boating and golfing and you would always find him blasting his favorite band Pink Floyd. Summer time was his favorite season, he would let his girls lay in the bed of his truck to stargaze and you would always find the family bonfire glowing close by. I’m not sure there is anyone who loved Fourth of July fireworks more than he did! While he may have gained his wings sooner than hoped for, he will forever remain in our hearts.
Mike is predeceased by his parents Peter and Natalie Dolzenchuk and is survived by his sister Lori Dolzenchuk and brother Barry Dolzenchuk. His wife Priscilla Dolzenchuk, three daughters Kassaundra Russell and spouse Andrew Russell, Ashley Dolzenchuk, Melissa Dolzenchuk and Fiance Johnathen Champagne and his grandchildren Haileigh, Natalie, Ariana and Kolton.
There will be a celebration of life with a date to be determined.
God saw you getting tired
And a cure was not to be
So he put his arms around you
And whispered “Come to me”
With tearful eyes we watched you
And saw you pass away
And although we love you dearly
We could not make you stay
A golden heart stopped beating
Hard working hands at rest
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.
