Virgie Lee Brown, age 93, passed away on December 17, 2023 after a long illness with heart surgeries and 2 strokes. She was preceded in death by her husband Jesse Brown, infant son Mann Lee Raley, Granddaughter infant Melissa Ann Larson, her sisters Imogene Carter, Lanette Hawkins, Melba Pearson and her brothers Jerry Sharp and Richard Sharp and her parents Oscar Lee and Mary Katherine Sharp. Her surviving siblings are Tamza DeCharles and Billy Wayne Sharp. She has two daughters Toni Beasley and her husband Rickey and Rebecca Stallard and her husband Gerald. Granddaughters Candice Schwager and her husband Rick and Great Grandsons Zachery, Joshua and Adam; and Kellie Leonard and her spouse Kandice Knigge. Grandsons Larry Carpenter, Jr. and wife Anna and Stephen Chase Carpenter and wife Kelli and Great GrandChildren Colin and Clara Carpenter. The graveside funeral will be Thursday, Dec. 21, 2023 at 2:30pm at Center Cemetery. Cindy Phillips Taylor will host a Fellowship.
