Tony Torrez

Tony Torrez entered into the arms of God, whom he loved, served and trusted, on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at home surrounded with his wife BJ, family and friends.

Visitation will be held Monday evening, June 20, 2016 from 6-8 at Lloyd James Funeral Home in Tyler.

Services will be held Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Rose Heights Church of God, 2120 Old Omen Road with Reverend Doug Anderson, Senior Pastor, officiating. Interment will be at Williams Cemetery, Highway 64 East, immediately following the funeral.

Tony was very patriotic and served in the United States Air Force for seven years.

Pallbearers will be Rob Carpenter, Marv Harman, Daniel Allen Hossley, Ethan Martin, Glenn Rogers and Estabon (Stephan) Zavala. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Ward, Christian Harman, and Tommy Garrett.

Music will be by Marv Harman and Scott Fisher.

Tony is survived by his wife, Barbara Jayne (BJ) Carpenter Torrez, sons, Steven Torrez and Larry Torrez, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brothers Jimmy Torrez, Richard Torrez, Mike Torrez, Joe Torrez and Johnny Torrez, sisters Earlene Coleman, Mary Ortega and Virginia Stone of New Mexico. Other family are Allen and Jill Hossley, Lexi, Kaitlin and Hayden.

Tony is preceded in death by his parents Joe and Juanita Lopez Torrez and brothers Larry and Paul Torrez.
