Tommy Leroy Smith

He worked for Tyler Fire Dept from 1966 to 1973 at Station #7, also worked for Southland Distribution Center as a truck driver supervisor for 18 years, and security for Silverleaf Resorts for 14 years. Mr. Smith served as Military Police in the US Army 8th Infantry division in Germany. He was a member of East Texas Classics Car Club and an avid fan of air shows.

Mr. Smith is survived by his wife Dianne; sons, Brady Smith and wife Kim of Bullard and Clint Smith and wife Karibeth of Gresham; Grandchildren, Hunter Frost and husband Andrew, Parker Smith, Houston Smith and Jaxon Smith; step grandchildren, Harley Bond and husband Seth and Jake Williams; step great grandchildren, Ricky and Kinley.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Donna Kay Smith; grandson, Christopher Jaymes Smith and sister, Shelly Ann Hewitt.

Contributions to Hospice of East Texas, Wounded Warriors and St. Jude.

Visitation will be 4:00pm to 6:00pm Sunday at Lloyd James Funeral Home with a graveside service at 2:00pm Monday at Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery in Tyler, TX.
