Our brother in Christ, Tim Holt, Sr. went to be with the Lord on June 30th 2024. He was a faithful member of the Church of Christ from his youth, for his full life. He served as a deacon and was involved with serving the needy of his community.
Survived by his wife of 42 years, Gayle Holt, his son, Tim Holt, Jr., his mother in law, Eleanor McMillan, his brother in law, Brent McMillan, sister in law, Carole Schweitzer, and cousin Bobby Foley.
He was preceded in death by daughter, Kim Holt, parents Darrel and Jean Holt, father in law Jerald McMillan, and brother in law Buddy Schweitzer.
He retired from Tyler ISD in 2021 after 24 years. His hobbies included gardening, and working in the yard.
A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at 10 am in the Chapel of Lloyd James Funeral Home in Tyler, Texas. A visitation will precede the service starting at 9 am. The service will be officiated by Chaplain Bill Allen.
Pallbearers with be Kalen Killam, Wyatt Killam, Justan Schweitzer, Kaden Schweitzer, Wayne Caldwell and Matthew McMillan.
