Timothy Dorcey Beard

age of 70. He was born on June 15, 1953 in Houston, Texas. Tim was a humble man

and a devoted husband and father. He was a devout Christian, actively involved in the

work of Christ's church, worshipping at the Canton Church of Christ, and lived out his faith by serving others. Tim enjoyed carpentry and always had a project going on at home. He cherished spending time with those he loved, especially his grandchildren. Tim is preceded in death by his father, Dorcey Darrell Beard, mother, Floy Winnell Beard, and brother, Larry Don Beard. He is survived by his wife, Georgia Ann Beard; son Timothy and wife, Liz; son Kyle and wife, Luz; daughter Ashley; Sister Gay Lynn Beard; 8 grandchildren; and a large extended family and community of friends. Tim was always there to lend a helping hand to those in need and touched

many people's lives. One of his greatest joys was helping others succeed.

The family will gather to accept and greet friends and loved ones and celebrate his life at The Lodge at Hideaway Lake on Tuesday, September 19, from 5-7 p.m. There will be a private graveside service at a later date.
