Sylvia “Kaye” was born on May 21, 1938 in Minot, N. Dakota. She had lived in California, Washington State, Arizona and Texas.
Kaye is preceded in death by her parents, her brother George Block, her sister Ruth Reed, her husband Asa Stout, a stepson Roeby Stout, and a precious great-granddaughter, Charlie Rae Limburg.
She is survived by her brother Charles “Chuck” Block, her three children; John Wilson of Puyallup, Washington, her daughter Jeanne Wilson of west Boylston, Massachusetts and her daughter Julie Barefield of Troup, Texas, two stepchildren Rebecca Peterson of Bend, Oregon and Starn Stout of Mountlake Terrace, Washington.
She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Kaye was a mother and homemaker, she had worked in electronics at John Fluke and Boeing while living in the Seattle area. Later after moving to Tucson, Arizona, along with her husband, Asa Stout, opened up a Sewer and Drain business which they had for many years before selling and retiring.
After her husband passed away she moved to Texas to be closer to family.
She had been an avid bowler, when younger, loved to travel, wright poems and stories, and play pinochle and blackjack. She enjoyed going to casinos when possible and loved her weekly bingo game and friends there.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date with family.
