Robert Page Weathers

Robert Page Weathers passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 29, 2022 with Rev. Park Robertson officiating, at Lloyd James Funeral Home in Tyler TX.

He was born in Raleigh NC on October 1, 1941. His father was Leland Edgerton Weathers, and his mother was Gladys Marie Council.

He enjoyed golf, working on the farm, his family and his beloved dogs. He enjoyed a successful 25- year career with State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company having earned almost every award available to agents and agency managers. His legacy resides in the people he profoundly impacted. Over his career, he hired 20 new agents and welcomed the opportunity to teach and mentor many others throughout the North Texas region. Bob wanted to be a difference maker. After retirement, he enjoyed spending time in the mountains of Arkansas, North Carolina and in Florida.

He is survived by his wife, Norma Weathers; his brother, RE Weathers and his sister, Martha Sue Barrick; his children, Brian Cody (Desiree), Lisa Weathers, Paige French, Robert Weathers (Amy) and Robin Hall as well as grandchildren, nieces and a nephew.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his grandmother Minnie Page Weathers and his brother Hal Weathers.
