Funeral services for Horace Richard “Hoss” Worthy, age 77, of Tyler will be 2:00PM Tuesday at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home with Rev Danny Barnett officiating, with Burial in Tyler Memorial Park. Mr Worthy was born on November 16, 1935 in Tyler to Elisha M & Leona Goodman Worthy and passed away on September 21, 2013 in Tyler, He was a past law enforcement officer, self employed contractor and retired from Schlitz Brewery he was an avid fisherman & hunter, he also attended Victory Assembly for many years Survivors include his wife of 56 years Norma Worthy of Tyler, Son: Todd Worthy and wife Nancy, Granddaughters: Kristina Ashmore, Rachel Worthy & Jacalyn Worthy, 2 Greatgrandchildren all of Tyler Sister: Margie Lichenstein of Warren, TX, Numerous Nieces & Nephews. Pall Bearers: Louie Allred, (Special Nephew)Nathan Shirley, Richard Adams, Carl Johnson Jerry Carter & Robert Stokes Honorary Pall Bearers: Olen Barnett, Bob Lynn, Wayne Jones, Bruce Adams, Marvin Garrett, Johnny Carter, Steve Carter & Stacey Oliver.
