Randall Frank Lowrey, age 58, of Whitehouse, went to be with the Lord in the early morning hours of Thursday, August 30, 2012 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Randy was born on May 5, 1954 in Henderson, Texas to Robert Wayne and Jonell Johnson Lowrey; they preceded him in death. Randy earned his degree from Tyler Junior College and then began his life long career in the oil business. He started in his early days with Sun Oil Company and after 39 years worked as an independent oil field consultant. Randy married the love of his life, Patricia Ratto on August 19, 2006 in Tyler. He was a proud Deacon at Bethel Baptist Church and a beloved member of the Theos Sunday School Class. In his free time Randy loved to fish but those who knew him best knew work and family were his life but the Lord was above all else.
Randy is survived by his wife, Pat of Whitehouse; daughter Deanna Lowrey Green, and husband Eric, of Spring; step-daughter, Whitney Goolsbee, and husband Stephen, of Arlington; granddaughters, Audrey Green and Summer Goolsbee; brother, Michael Lowrey, and wife Linda, of Pampa; Mother-in-law and father-in-law, LaVaughn and Francis Mosely of Arp; Sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sherry and Jerry Rhodes, of Whitehouse; brother-in-law, Jim Ratto of Whitehouse, niece, Heather Lowrey of Amarillo; nephew, Brandon Lowrey, of Amarillo; and by numerous aunts, uncles, and other relatives and special friends.
Graveside services for Randall Lowrey will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Bascom Cemetery with Brother Mike Ford officiating. An open visitation will be held Friday afternoon at Lloyd James Funeral Home.
