Services for Ramona Lynn Ortega, 62, of Tyler, are scheduled for 11:00 am, Friday, September 19, 2014 in Lloyd James Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 am Friday, prior to the service, at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.
Mrs. Ortega passed away on Friday, September 12, 2014, in Tyler.
She was born on August 2, 1952 in Britton, South Dakota to Ronald and Joyce Karlen Corliss. She was a nurse and worked for several years in east Texas as an agency nurse, employed by Exceptional Home Care, working with chronically ill children.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband, Steven Ortega of Tyler; sons, Erik Stensland, of Wiley, Joshua Stensland, of Rapid City, South Dakota, and Robert Ortega, of Tyler; grandchildren, Gabrielle, Kimberly, Isabella, Logan and Axel; brothers, Arthur Corliss, of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Keith Corliss, of Fargo, North Dakota; and sister, Kathy Young, of Regina, Saskatchewan.
