Peggy worked and retired from Tyler ISD after 30 plus years. She married the love of her life, Glen, on Saturday, November 4, 1967 and lived in Tyler, Texas for more than 50 years. Peggy was a master cook in the kitchen, especially desserts. She loved making more than enough food for her kids, grandkids and the church potluck dinners. Peggy's favorite piece of furniture in the house was her prayer bench, where she was a prayer warrior and enjoyed reading her Bible. Her favorite hobbies included gardening and spending time with her beloved family, especially her grandchildren.
Peggy is survived by her mother, Rachel Cain; children, Shelly and Geoff Roark, Kim Hulsey and David Simmons and Natalie Tharp; and grandchildren, Katie Roark, Ethan Roark, Gracie Roark, Nolan Tharp, Harrison Tharp and Ian Griggs.
Peggy is preceded in death by her loving husband, Glen Hulsey; father, Narvle Cain; and brother, Norris Cain.
A graveside service for Peggy will be held Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery.
