Patricia Shelby Korthauer

Funeral services for Patricia Shelby Korthauer, 79, of Tyler are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 26, 2012 at St. Francis Episcopal Church with Rev. Canon Dr. Robert F.de Wolfe officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Longview under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.

Mrs. Korthauer passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 in Tyler.

She was born on June 14, 1932 in Dallas to the late Rebecca Lathrop. She was a retired secretary formerly employed by San Antonio College. She was a member of the St. Francis Episcopal Church and the Daughters of the King since 1954. She was also a member of the Vestry and Altar Guild at St. David’s Episcopal Church in San Antonio.

She is survived by her husband, Mel Korthauer; son and daughter-in-law, Russell and Julie Korthauer and grandchildren, Alyssa Korthauer, Ryan Korthauer, Blake Korthauer and Clay Korthauer.

Donations or contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, American Lung Association or Hospice of East Texas.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Lloyd James Funeral Home.
