A memorial service for Nell McFarlin Perkins, age 92, of New Chapel Hill is scheduled for Saturday, June 3rd, 2023 1:00 pm at Lloyd James Funeral home. Nell passed on April 30, 2023.
Mrs. Perkins’ survivors include her husband of 74 years, Richard Lynn Perkins I; sons, James Perkins and wife, Deanna and Kelly Perkins and wife, Edie; eight grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Porter Vinson McFarlin and Irene Huddle McFarlin, sons, Richard Lynn Perkins II and Donald Wayne Perkins.
Nell was born May 10, 1930 in Tyler, TX. She graduated from John Tyler High School and was retired after many years of service from UT Medical Center in Tyler, TX.
Nell Perkins and her husband, Richard were married in Houston, TX on February 26, 1949 and lived most of their lives in Tyler, TX.
