Graveside services for Mrs. Andrews, 84, of Tyler are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 18, 2020 at Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. Gerry Giles officiating.
She was born on October 3, 1935 in Nacogdoches to the late Jack and Polly Hall Satterwhite. She was a loving mother, doting grandmother, and good friend all of her life. She was beloved by her family and always lit up a room when she came in. Mrs. Andrews loved to travel and had some of her favorite trips in her RV with her husband and friends. She also loved traveling with her family and created some lifelong memories that her family will cherish forever.
Mrs. Andrews was an entrepreneur owning Andrews Sales Company, Bellwood Golf Course, and Birmingham Golf Course with her husband and later H&A Automotive. Mrs. Andrews was a lover of history and genealogy and could recite her family lineage from memory. Mrs. Andrews was known by her grandchildren as Gimme and was always up for a good time and a laugh with them. Mrs. Andrews also loved playing golf, swimming, and was an avid reader. Her family will miss her encouraging talks and stories.
Mrs. Andrews is survived by her daughter Nannette Anderson and son-in-law Dana; grandson Michael Anderson; granddaughter Michelle Nelson and husband Matt; and great-granddaughter Hannah.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Tommy Clyde Andrews.
