Jean, a homemaker, was born on March 2, 1935 in Tyler; where she grew up and attended school. She married, Roy Phillips in August of 1952 and he preceded her in death on November 5, 2000.
Roy and Jean worked side by side in several businesses, including Weber's Root Beer in Tyler. They were also involved in family owned businesses in the Nacogdoches area and lived there for 28 years.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and one grandson.
She is survived by, daughters, Terri Beddingfield of Tyler, Vicki Weatherly of Longview; sons, Danny Phillips of the Philippines, Michael Phillips of Nacogdoches; eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Memorial services 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home. Entombment will be at Tyler Memorial Cemetery.
