Marcus had a love for the outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, and generally finding ways to be outdoors working with his hands. You could typically find him working in his outdoor shop, riding his tractor; oftentimes taking one of his three grandsons along, or tending to the chickens & ducks that roamed his and Lori’s property. Marcus was an excellent home chef who took pride in making delicious food for his family to enjoy at cookouts and gatherings. He and Lori also had a love for dogs as they shared numerous family pets over the years treating them like real members of their family.
Marcus’ greatest quality was the love and devotion to his family he showed time and time again through his actions. “Popsy” as he was affectionately known by his family, never turned downplay time or the previously mentioned tractor ride with his grandsons. He was always there to listen, be a shoulder to cry on, or offer advice on anything that life could throw at you. He would be there at the drop of a hat if you had a home project you needed help on or a flat tire, no questions asked.
Marcus loved his family deeply and fiercely and the many family members he leaves behind will miss him dearly. Marcus was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Charles and Melba Hayley and Maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Norma “Tudor” Gentry.
He is survived by his Wife, Lori Rumbelow; Parents, Charles “Mike” and Donna Hayley; his children, Son, Hayden Hayley and fiance’, Hailley; daughter, Kortlyn Hayley and fiance’, Tai-Reece; step-sons, Ryan Rumbelow and wife, Laura, Nick Rumbelow and wife, Shai and Trevor Rumbelow; brother, Todd Hayley and his children, Lake Hayley and Lily Hayley.
