Louise Marie Jones

Graveside services for Louise Jones, 90, of Trinidad are scheduled for 1:00 P.M., Thursday, September 22, 2011 at Burkett Cemetery in Burkett, Texas under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home with the Rev. Al Meredith of Wedgewood Baptist in Fort Worth officiating.

Mrs. Jones passed away on Monday, September 19, 2011 in Trinidad.

She was born on September 18, 1921 in Burkett, Texas to the late Seth Thomas and Myrtle Burkett. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a homemaker and worked for Cox’s Department Store as a cashier. She was a longtime active member of Wedgewood Baptist Church in Fort Worth.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Jones, son Arlon Jones, granddaughter Natalie Jones, daughter in law Sara Jones son in law Wayne Hagen and her parents.

He is survived by a son Reggie Jones, Tyler, daughter Olivia Hagen, Trinidad, daughter in law Judy Jones of California, grandchildren, Lisa Jones, New York City, Gwen Thompson and husband Joe, Laurie Barton and husband Scott of Whitehouse, Gregg Hagen and wife Hillary of The Colony, Melinda Hagen of Nacogdoches and 8 great grand children.

Pallbearers will be Joe Thompson, Scott Barton, Gregg Hagen, and Wes Thompson

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday at Lloyd James Funeral Home.
