Linda Boudreau, or, Aunt Linda as she was known to me, was my wife Margaret's Aunt. But as soon as I joined the family, she instantly became my Aunt, too. Linda was special to all of us for many reasons. I remember how she treated me as one of the family the instant she met me, approximately thirty years ago, when we flew from Maryland to Texas to visit Margaret's Grandmother, and Aunt Linda and Uncle Tommy. She was the epitome of an angel walking the Earth. She radiated kindness, compassion, empathy, and love. If you were feeling down in the dumps and needed to talk, you call Aunt Linda, and in a few minutes, you would forget what was troubling you. You didn't even have to be human, Linda was an animal lover, par excellence! Besides the Labrador I met, Windy, there was always three to five cats hanging around the back door, waiting for a snack. Linda was a master chef, a black belt in cooking. I could go on, but, most important, was, she was my Aunt Linda, she loved us, and we loved her. I miss you, Aunt Linda. I love you and miss you. God Bless You on your journey.

Aunt Linda was my mother's only sister . Although many  years have passed since my childhood .  The memories that I shared with my sister Margaret at our grandmothers and Aunt Linda's house are fond ones that I will never forget.  I do remember she was a great cook and meals were made with love. I also remember her taking me and my sister to church and Vacation Bible school every summer at Omen Road Church of Christ. It's those seemingly little things like that , that I cherish.
   I  send love , light and prayers for my Uncle Tommy and  cousins Terri and David. Your mother made lasting impressions on us all.

Where do I begin. My Aunt Linda meant the world to me. I named my very first doll that she had bought for me, after her " Ninnie Jean ". She and I go way back. She taught Sunday school at what was then " Omen Road Church Of Christ " where I was allowed to help her out in the class. I felt so special and  was so proud to be her niece. She helped shape my future by teaching me compassion,morals, values and loving kindness by her example. Through all these years we have remained close. I will miss our long conversations on the phone we would have as the miles kept us apart.  I will forever and always hold my memories of her that I cherish forever close to my heart." Hello, my name is David Michael Boudreau i'm Linda's son, unconditional love understanding+ giving was just the beginning of what I can say about my wonderful mom, she would give me her last dollar to help me out because that would make her happy just to see you happy, she was always very nice in every single way, my mom was a good example of what a Christian woman was supposed to be. I know she is no longer suffering with pain anymore so I thank our true and living God for blessing me with a loving mother I had on this earth have peace in your forever rest mom💓 love David

Everyone who met my mom always said the same two things, that she was "the sweetest lady they had ever met" and that she was "so funny". What made her even more endearing is that she was just being herself. She had no idea how funny and likable she actually was. She loved animals, especially stray cats. Her current companion, Dolly Sunshine, was always by her side. She also loved her Dallas Cowboys. Once she named all of Wendy Windsock's puppies after them: Troy, Emmitt, Michael, Moose, Nate, Leon, etc. I could go on and on about her wonderful cooking and how she loved to decorate but what really stood out for me was her kind soul and good nature. She was a treasure and will be greatly missed.

Linda's wonderful cooking has to be at the top of my all time favorite memories.  To be invited for a meal at Linda's house was sure to be a delight!  She made the best mouth watering chicken fried steak with all the trimmings.  The table was set to perfection and often included peach cobbler with her own "secret ingredient" for dessert.  Her love, loyalty and devotion to family, friends and co-workers were all qualities to be admired.  Although Linda was very petite, it is true that "dynamite comes in small packages!"  She overcame many obstacles in this journey called life and will be missed.
