Ms. LaDonna Gail Fulfer Terrien, age 66, from Dallas, TX, passed in peace Thursday evening, April 3rd, 2025, in Rogers, Arkansas. She was born May 23rd in Dallas County, the youngest daughter of the late Cecil Charlie Fulfer, Sr., and Doris Elva Wheat Fulfer. She grew up in a wonderful family, surrounded by “bushels of love and barrels of kisses” as witness to the epic, unparalleled love her parents shared. After she graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Dallas, TX, she went to Richland College to study Cake Decorating and Flower Arrangement.
Donna was a beloved mother to daughter Amanda Gail Terrien Rivera of Dallas, TX and son Joseph Anthony Charlie Terrien of Fayetteville, AR. She was a cherished grandmother to Amanda’s children; Lillian Doris Rivera, Ava Grace Rivera, Manuel Jesus Rivera and Estelle Camille Rivera all of Dallas, TX. Joseph provided her with grand pup companions, Chevelle and Nova Terrien, and they loved her dearly. She was adored by her older siblings; sister, Cathy Lynn Fulfer Kelley of Hawkins, TX, her late brother, Cecil Charlie Fulfer Jr. of Hawkins, TX, and her late sister, Anita Doris Fulfer Bird of Hawkins, TX. She was preceded in death by her longtime best friend, Ella Marian Gay of Tyler, TX. She will be remembered by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and the countless friends she made throughout her life.
She was active at Northway Baptist Church in Dallas, where she also worked as a child care provider for many years. She enjoyed her job at Furr’s cafeteria at North Town Mall, working with her friend Marian. She also excelled during her time as an Avon Lady. She was passionate about nursing home ministry, befriending many residents and bringing cheer and fellowship back into their lives. She had an incredible, dry sense of humor, passed down through generations on her Wheat side. She used it often to make everyone laugh, especially herself. She never left home without a disposable camera, always prepared to have everyone pose for a picture, and then be still for “one more” as many times as it took to get the perfect shot. She was great at staying in touch with her loved ones and at getting in touch with celebrities. She gathered countless autographs from countless entertainers throughout the years. She shared her mother’s love of square dancing, often joining her at square dancing events. She had music in her heart and loved to sing and play piano, especially gospel.
